IBM announced that they have a computer system capable of replicating the processing power of a cat's brain. They're looking towards the brain to solve today's problem of size and energy consumption. They eventually plan on replicating a human brain's processing power (a cat's brain being about 4.5% of a human's) but all I can think is excellent, someday they will finally make a robotic cat that moves and acts like a real cat.
